- This is a rescue mission
HARRY’S HEROES
As the video stated, in the UK 375,000 people a year are diagnosed with cancer and this number is growing. The diagnosis is traumatic for the individual and their family and friends. Their lives are put on hold as they wait to learn what will happen following the diagnosis. Some will be blessed with a positive outcome, while others will lose their battle.
THAT’S WHY WE NEED YOU TO BECOME ONE OF HARRY’S HEROES.
You will have the opportunity to attend an SAS style hostage rescue simulation with Stoic Events, and in return you will raise as much sponsorship as possible for the Cancer Support Charity Help Harry Help Others.
You will be tested to your very limits in a specially designed facility in Scotland over the weekend of the 18th and 19th November 2022. The build up and main event will be filmed for a feature length film that will be premiered at an exclusive event in December, where there will also be prizes for those who take part.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
“The event will immerse you into the world of a special forces operator. The event focuses on team work, courage and wit. This is not an overly physical event, you will learn new skills and more importantly learn a lot about yourself. All activities at any Stoic Event are kept secret, however, you can expect to do some or all of the following:
- Abseiling
- Speed boat extraction
- Shooting real weapons
- Using military grade explosives
- Learning secret skills
- Code breaking
- Kayaking
- Confidence tests
- Introduction to tactical questioning
As well as raising money for charity and helping people with cancer you’ll also benefit from developing skills useful in the workplace including problem solving, working and leading a team and planning for which all participants will be assessed an receive feedback. for corporate sponsors and companies entering a team this can be done in a more formal structure if required.
If you are not already familiar with the vital work that Help Harry Help Others does then we can arrange for you to meet the team and find out more or you can visit their website here.
